Anh LyJordan, Program Director

Anh LyJordan has spent the last 25 years advocating for and protecting the rights of American workers in her different roles in corporate America, corporate law firms and most recently, as a trial attorney. After 10 years as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor in the DC area, Anh relocated with her family to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2017 in order to found Accelerate The Climb, an organization dedicated to assisting first-generation college students achieve their full potential without the artificial barriers they often encounter as they transition to the professional world. As a Vietnamese refugee and first-generation college student herself, Anh understands the challenges that first-gen students face in cultivating the connections necessary to access the social capital critical in nurturing successful professional careers.

Anh earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and her law degree from Rutgers Law School. Anh is also a certified mediator and a StartingBloc fellow. She is married with two sons and enjoys cooking, eating and traveling when she’s not busy cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees.
